This Week’s Standout Dance Releases
A roundup of the most compelling new tracks, albums and industry news shaping dance music right now.
Cercle has announced a one-night DJ performance with Tame Impala in Mexico City tied to the band’s new dance-influenced album Deadbeat. Veteran DJ Lee Burridge offers a reflective clip from his upcoming documentary Sound of a Dream, which premieres at London’s Doc’n Roll Film Festival on October 25. Meanwhile, Skepta and Hannah Laing are among the speakers added to this month’s ADE lineup in Amsterdam.
In festival news, Okeechobee returns after a three-year break with headliners including Griz, T-Pain, The Lumineers and Fisher. Burning Man has revealed its 2026 theme, and Sylvan Esso removed their catalogue from Spotify, citing objections to how the platform deploys revenue and investments they find incompatible with their values.
On the artist front, we caught up with rising talent Jigitz — our September dance rookie of the month — compiled a list of the 50 greatest house tracks ever, and spoke with Tinashe and Disco Lines about their international hit “No Broke Boys.”
Below are the most notable dance releases and projects that landed this week.
