Free Trial of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Now on Switch — Not Everyone Can Play

Nintendo Switch Online members can play Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance for free. A demo is available from October 16 to October 22, 2025, offering a chance to sample the scope of the revamped jRPG hit.

Vengeance is more than a simple remaster of the original. This edition introduces a new storyline, Canon of Vengeance, which brings fresh characters and a previously unseen faction of demons. Player choices now shape the outcome — there are multiple endings.

Atlus has also upgraded the visuals: reworked textures, enhanced lighting, and faster load times give the game a noticeably fresher look. The interface is more intuitive and performance is steadier — the remaster both looks and plays significantly better.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has already sold more than one million copies.
