Players can now claim Zomborg for their collection free of charge.
The Zomborg project was recently brought back into the spotlight. The developers are offering the title as a free addition to Steam libraries.
Zomborg is a top-down shooter in which mercenaries battle hordes of the undead to retrieve scientists’ samples from a contaminated zone:
“2000. The United Nations sealed several areas worldwide under quarantine to conceal the threat of an outbreak of an unknown virus… To investigate the cause of the infection, the UN dispatched numerous military, medical, and scientific teams into the quarantined zones. One medical unit managed to recover distinctive blood samples… but before they could evacuate, their camp was overrun by thousands of infected dead. All personnel and their convoy were killed, and the samples remained trapped inside the quarantine zone.”
Zomborg’s Steam page is available here; the giveaway runs until October 6 at 20:00 Moscow time. The game is treated as a full title, meaning it will add +1 to your Steam library.
