The long-awaited Winterfest has returned to Fortnite, bringing the beloved cabin back into the spotlight and introducing exciting new gameplay elements to Battle Royale. Winterfest 2024 is now live and will continue until January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET.
Winterfest Cabin
The Winterfest Cabin makes its return in 2024, presenting a fresh present daily until January 7! These gifts conceal festive Outfits, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Gliders, and much more. Unwrap treasures like the frosty Yulejacket Outfit, the minty Peppermint Paraglider, and the super-cool Santa Dogg Outfit!

Access the Winterfest Cabin via the Snowflake tab in the Lobby across any Fortnite experience. Presents can be unwrapped until Winterfest concludes on January 7 at 9 AM ET.
Players can even watch the fire in the cabin to earn bonus XP!
Distinctly, unlike previous editions, the cosmetic rewards from Winterfest 2024 may not remain exclusive and could be available later in the Shop.
Winterfest Battle Royale
Mariah Carey has been liberated from her icy prison! Spreading Winterfest excitement, she’s delivering more than just melodies this year: she’s bringing plenty of snowfall! From now until Winterfest concludes, specific areas of the Island are draped in a snowy veil, with occasional snow showers!
Dance with Mariah on the Island, and she’ll present you with a Holiday Present! — an in-game item you can toss to uncover its contents.
Winterfest Items
Emulate Sgt. Winter with the Blizzard Grenade! When you hit your opponents with it, they’ll be swept into a blizzard that slows their movement and inflicts damage. Glide over for the final strike with the Icy Feet item, letting you speed across surfaces — even on water!
These items can be found in Chests dispersed throughout the map until Winterfest ends.
Winterfest Quests
Sgt. Winter is seeking your assistance to complete his Wintervestigation and determine who merits a special delivery this Winterfest. Each finished Quest rewards you with XP!
Tournament Notes
- All gameplay elements part of this year’s Winterfest will be excluded from tournaments.
