Fortnite Enhances Controller Aim Assist
Epic Games has discreetly enhanced the controller’s aim assist, undoing the contentious Chapter 2 reduction.
In a hotfix issued on June 20, Epic subtly boosted the external pull strength for controller aim assist, introducing the following modifications:
- Hip fire increased from 0.5 to 0.6
- ADS increased from 0.4 to 0.6
These adjustments effectively counteract the significant reduction Fortnite made to aim assist in May 2020, which drastically lowered the intensity of inner and outer pull values. Although the latest update focuses solely on the external metrics, players should still experience a noticeable improvement in aim assist when using a controller.
As of now, Epic has not publicly announced these modifications. Stay tuned for updates. Source: Osirion
