Today, in a surprising turn of events, Epic Games announced a revised conclusion date for Chapter 6 Season 3 and OG Season 4 of Fortnite.
Initially set to end on August 8, 2025, both the forthcoming Battle Royale and OG Seasons will now conclude on August 7. The rationale behind Epic’s decision to shift the date remains unclear, though it could potentially align with an upcoming live event.

This is not the first instance of a Fortnite Season’s end date being rescheduled. Back in 2023, Epic modified the launch date of Chapter 4 Season 2 by 48 hours, yet ultimately maintained the original schedule, which led to some confusion among players.
Currently, details about the upcoming Season finales are expected to become clearer as we approach August 7. At present, the debut live event for OG is slated for July 26, while Chapter 6’s plans remain undisclosed.
