Epic Games has officially announced the release date for Chapter 5 Season 4 of Fortnite.
In a tweet detailing the revised end date for Season 3—now scheduled to conclude three hours earlier than initially planned—Fortnite confirmed that Season 4 will commence a few hours after, on August 16, 2024.
Chapter 5 Season 4 marks Fortnite’s 31st Battle Royale Season and is anticipated to be one of the most significant. It is rumored to feature a strong Marvel theme across the Battle Pass, map alterations, and loot pool, setting the stage for a grand finale to Chapter 5.
The downtime for Season 4 is set to begin at 11 PM (ET) on August 15th, with the season launching roughly six hours later. The adjusted earlier downtime is likely intended to provide Epic with additional time to ensure stable server conditions, especially considering the challenging Season 2 release earlier this year.
