<p>Roth intends to turn that nostalgia into a waking nightmare. In <em>Ice Cream Man</em>, Ari Millen (<em><a href="https://www.polygon.com/orphan-black-waiting-to-be-rediscovered-on-netflix/" target="_blank">Orphan Black</a></em>) portrays an ice-cream-slinging villain who serves up more than just refreshments to the children of a picture-perfect suburb. These tainted treats transform innocent kids into bloodthirsty monsters. <p>This film marks the inaugural release under The Horror Section banner, a creative hub Roth established in 2025. According to the company's <a href="https://horrorsectionstudios.com/about/" target="_blank">official mission statement</a>, the label aims to cultivate a premium library of macabre films, series, and interactive horror experiences.</p>
<p>Discussing the marriage of terror and humor in his work, Roth told Polygon: “I love hearing the audience fluctuate between laughing out loud and hiding their eyes, wondering just how much further the story is going to escalate.”</p>
