Sony has shared the first still from the forthcoming third installment of Jumanji — a fantasy comedy about a group of friends caught in a perilously immersive virtual reality. From the image, it appears the new film will place the main characters, played by Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black and Kevin Hart, in our world, and for the first time Jumanji will appear as a tabletop game.
According to Dwayne Johnson, “Jumanji 3” will mark the final chapter of the franchise. The send-off is expected to be genuinely exciting and spectacular.
World premiere — December 11, 2026.
