Netflix has unveiled the first official images from its upcoming limited series, Vladimir, featuring Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz in the leading role.
The narrative centers on a university literature professor who finds herself unexpectedly infatuated with a mysterious colleague, a novelist named Vladimir (played by Leo Woodall). As their mutual attraction intensifies, the resulting affair threatens to dismantle the lives and reputations of both protagonists.
The series is an adaptation of the 2022 acclaimed novel of the same name by Julia May Jonas. It is helmed by directors Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini, known for their work on Succession. All eight episodes of Vladimir are scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on March 5.
