First images of the Ayaneo Pocket Micro 2 front panel have surfaced

Users can finally see the horizontal Ayaneo Pocket Micro 2 handheld ahead of its full announcement on June 26.

Ayaneo teased the Pocket Micro 2 with images for 11 days. Today, the developers revealed official photos of the front panel just before the upcoming launch.

These images show the console retains a design close to the original while incorporating practical improvements. The front panel features the same glass covering found on other Ayaneo hardware.

While the button layout remains familiar, the team redesigned the analog sticks. They are now recessed into the body and include LED lighting for customization. These joysticks utilize TMR sensors to prevent stick drift.

The device keeps a bezel-less display and navigation buttons along the bottom. Ayaneo also redesigned the bumpers, which now extend to the corners to improve ergonomics.

Company social media posts confirm larger and more precise buttons alongside an improved D-pad and action buttons for better tactile response. The large, separate bumpers aim to make this iteration more comfortable to hold than the original, even while maintaining the same slim, rectangular profile.
