First DLC Released for Reanimal Featuring New Horror Story

THQ Nordic has released the first story DLC for Reanimal, titled The Prisoner, which tells a new story about the Prisoner and the Soldier.

The first story DLC for Reanimal is out now. The Prisoner begins a new story featuring two characters who are trying to survive amid destruction and war. THQ Nordic also released a launch trailer.

The expansion introduces new locations in an unexplored corner of the game world alongside unexpected plot twists. The Prisoner teams up with the Soldier, and the two must work together to survive. In addition to a flamethrower-wielding enemy, the heroes will face an even greater danger.

The Prisoner is the first of three chapters in the new storyline. The next two expansions will also focus on the Prisoner and the Soldier. How their stories will intersect with the events of the main game remains unknown.

Reanimal is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game was developed by Tarsier Studios, the creator of Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2. The main plot follows a Boy and a Girl trying to rescue their friends in a nightmare world.
