Amazon Prime has officially wrapped production on the third season of the series inspired by The Lord of the Rings. The upcoming episodes are set several months after the second season’s finale. In season three, Sauron grows increasingly powerful and will create a dark, ominous artifact — the One Ring.
It’s been reported that Jamie Campbell Bower, known for portraying an antagonist in Stranger Things, will appear in the new season of Rings of Power in an undisclosed role.
No premiere date for the third season has been announced yet.
