Production on the latest entry in The Hunger Games franchise, entitled “Dawn of the Reaping,” has officially concluded, producer Nina Jacobson announced. The picture is based on Suzanne Collins’s novel of the same name, released in 2025.
The narrative follows a young Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada) — the man who will later mentor Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) — as he becomes a combatant in the fiftieth, jubilee edition of the Hunger Games.
The ensemble cast features Ralph Fiennes, Elle Fanning, Jesse Plemons, Kieran Culkin, Glenn Close, Maya Hawke, Billy Porter and others.
The film is set to premiere in Russia on November 19, 2026.
