Film About Agatha Christie’s Disappearance Announced

Deadline has reported that a noir detective film titled “Eleven Missing Days” is currently in development. The movie will explore the mysterious, real-life disappearance of legendary author Agatha Christie in December 1926.

Oscar nominee Felicity Jones (“The Theory of Everything,” “Rogue One”) is set to star as Christie. The cast also includes Vincent Cassel, who will portray a retired Belgian police officer hot on the writer’s trail.

The project will be helmed by director Bertie Ellwood (“Out of Place,” “Lessons in Chemistry”). Production for “Eleven Missing Days” is scheduled to begin this summer in the United Kingdom.
