Streaming giant Netflix has published viewing figures for the final season of Stranger Things.
The first four episodes premiered on the service on November 26. In under a week they accumulated 59.6 million official views. That marks a new high for any English-language series on Netflix — the previous benchmark was Wednesday, which drew 56 million views in four days.
The worldwide record remains the second season of the Korean hit Squid Game (68 million). The concluding installments of Stranger Things are scheduled to arrive early on December 26 and January 1.
