Farewell, Astrid Johnson

Like sands via the hourglass, so are the workers of the Rock Paper Shotgun video staff. After 9 months within the transferring picture mines, Astrid is leaving to return to life as a freelancer. You should still see her title round these elements within the months and years to return, however for now, be a part of me in saying so lengthy and good luck.

Astrid joined the video staff final July and has produced some nice movies within the time since. She’s launched Matthew and Alice to the glory of vampires, used videogame cutscenes to explain film theory, used videogames to explain Ice Road Truckers, and far, rather more over on our YouTube channel.

Prior to becoming a member of full-time, Astrid was producing articles and different work for the location on a contract foundation, together with Soundbyte, an audio mini-series which interviewed topics about unions, accessible controllers and sex games. They’re nonetheless properly value revisiting.
