Bookmakers are naming British actor Callum Turner (known for Fantastic Beasts and Masters of the Air) the leading contender to take on the role of James Bond.
The 26th 007 instalment will be directed by Denis Villeneuve (Dune). Other names that have circulated as possible candidates in recent years include Aaron Taylor‑Johnson, Jacob Elordi, Tom Holland and others, though none of these reports have been officially confirmed.
The exact release date for the next Bond film has not been announced. The picture will be released by Amazon MGM. Turner is due to appear soon in the sci‑fi romantic comedy Eternity (released in Russia on December 18).
