The official CD Projekt Red website for the Cyberpunk 2077 universe recently posted character profiles for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. While the studio officially introduced four characters, a fifth slot remained as a silhouette labeled “to be announced.”
Reddit user Smets205 uncovered the hidden file for the fifth character. A screenshot confirms the character is a woman named Avida.
Avida, a former jazz singer and corporate insider, attempted to build a new life as the wife of a Kang Tao executive. Her file reveals significant connections—she is the former lover of Wick and the mother of Talia. This discovery sparked fan theories regarding a potential familial link between Wick and Talia. The tension grew after users found a short video clip on the site showing a confrontation between the two, where Wick grabs her by the arm.
Observant viewers also noted that Avida appeared briefly in a one-second shot within a previous teaser.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 arrives on Netflix in the fall of 2026. The standalone story consists of 10 episodes.
