Facebook indicators take care of Ubisoft to develop Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell for Oculus Rift – report

A brand new report states Facebook and Ubisoft have signed a deal to deliver Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell to Oculus.

According to the report on The Information, Facebook has signed a VR-exclusivity take care of Ubisoft to develop Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell for its Oculus headset.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is claimed to have been concerned with the deal.

The report also states Facebook is seeking to purchase game studios to beef up game improvement for the headset.

When reached for remark, a Facebook spokesperson told GI.biz it couldn’t touch upon “specific partnerships,” nevertheless it “will continue to focus on expanding” its Oculus library and “reaching broader gaming audiences for years to come.”

File this away as a rumor then in the meanwhile.

Speaking of which, a brand new Splinter Cell game being within the works has been rumored for what looks like ages now, however Ubisoft has but to verify or deny the rumors.
