The collector’s edition of the new Fable sold out months before its release. Resellers are now listing the sets on eBay for $800.
Pre-orders for the new Fable began following the Xbox showcase in June. Alongside the standard version, players could purchase a $199.99 collector’s edition containing a Jack figurine, a steelbook, and additional bonuses. This supply is now depleted.
Playground Games confirmed the collector’s edition sold out well before the February 23, 2027, launch date. The developers have not announced plans for a production restock.
Listings for the set appeared on eBay priced at $799.90. One seller listed the Jack figurine separately for $50, though photos reveal it as an unofficial copy with simplified details.
Playground Games currently promotes the Premium Edition as an alternative. This version includes digital in-game bonuses rather than physical collectibles.
The rapid depletion of stock suggests strong interest in the title. This project marks the first new entry in the series for many years and the franchise debut for Playground Games.
