Leading the charge is Baldur’s Gate 3: Astarion. Penned by award-winning, New York Times bestselling author T. Kingfisher, this prequel novel is scheduled for a September 29 release. The story chronicles the enigmatic High Elf’s harrowing years under the thumb of the vampire lord Cazador Szarr, long before the events of the game. To maintain strict narrative fidelity, the project was developed in close collaboration with the game’s senior writer, Stephen Rooney. Beyond prose, the collection includes interactive treasures.
