Every ‘Stranded’ Keypad Puzzle Code in Modern Warfare 4

“Stranded” in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 hides eight keypad puzzles, and working out each numerical code takes some thought. Every locked room holds useful supplies and gear that will make the three mandatory objectives far easier, so it pays to comb through this open-world mission before you take on the bunker, the jamming station, and the SAM site.

Behind each door you’ll find supplies, notes, and yellow supply crates. The order in which you open the crates makes no difference, since they always hand out the same items in the same sequence. Below you’ll find every keypad location in “Stranded,” along with the solution to each code in Modern Warfare 4.

Keypad puzzle #1

The first keypad sits at the foot of the pylon that stands directly ahead as you leave base camp. The earlier codes climb by six each time, so the current one is 0024. Within, you’ll discover a map revealing several of the other keypad locations, plus a generous stash of supplies.

Known as the “cliff near base camp” code, this keypad is reached by scaling the broken staircase on the small cliff face. Each of the previous three codes drops by 2,900, which gives you 0600. A yellow supply crate waits inside.

Nicknamed the “big sign” keypad because it stands beside an enormous sign, this one is easy to reach with Grizzly if you’re heading over directly from the second keypad. In the earlier codes, each entry simply fills in the next digit in place of a zero, so the answer is 1234. Inside you’ll find assorted supplies and another yellow supply crate.

This one is a crate on a tiny island, guarded by two enemies in a watchtower. Eliminate them, then read the note. The old codes advance one step along a sequence, which makes the answer 6789. You’ll find yet another yellow supply crate inside.

Instead of a shipping container, this is one of two bunker doors you’ll need to crack, though it still works with a keypad. Called the “farm field bunker code,” its note states the answer is “all the outpost numbers of the logistics stations added together,” which comes to 0330. Inside is a note describing some of the gear stored in the yellow supply crates, along with plenty of supplies.

Labeled the “south of jamming station” keypad, it’s quick to reach if you haven’t finished that objective yet, since you can fast travel to a spot nearby. The code is 8609: across the earlier entries, the first digit rises by one, the second falls by one, the third holds steady, and the fourth goes up by two each time. Inside is one more yellow supply crate.

Its answer is “the sum of all outpost numbers for infantry checkpoints along the river,” which totals 0008.
