Embark Studios Previews Arc Raiders Frozen Trail Update With New Map and Enemies
Developers will expand the arsenal and introduce new threats.
Embark Studios has presented an upcoming update for Arc Raiders titled Frozen Trail, which will bring a large amount of new content to players.
The game will feature a new map called Pendola Pass. According to the lore, raiders have pinpointed the source of a strange signal and are heading out on reconnaissance after an ARC Emperor has fallen, leaving rare technology stored inside it.
Developers explain that the map will feature classic signs of old-world civilization—including a supermarket and a lifeless town square—alongside visible traces of the Exodus project, such as an observatory and a buried railway depot:
towering over all of this is the reason the raiders arrived in Pendola Pass: one of the [ARC] Emperors has fallen. Rare technology is hidden inside, and your task is simple—get there and find a way inside.
New ARC models were also showcased, including Bully, Skulker, and Hydra:
The game will feature an outpost that players can customize. Weapons can be upgraded up to level five, and new models will be introduced: the Stiletto light-ammo battle rifle, the Bantam heavy-ammo revolver, and a grappling hook.
Thanks to the camera, players will be able to take stylish screenshots:

The release of the Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders is scheduled for October 8, 2026. It will be the largest update in the project’s history.
