Ed Sheeran may have only recently concluded his marathon three-year Mathematics Tour in September, but the prolific singer-songwriter is already preparing for his next global trek. With his “Loop Tour” set to launch in just a matter of days, Sheeran has officially revealed the performance roster fans can expect to hear on stage.
In a collaboration with Apple Music, Sheeran premiered an exclusive playlist detailing the tracks scheduled for his shows, which begin January 16 in Auckland, New Zealand. The setlist highlights material from his latest project, Play—which reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 last autumn—alongside a deep selection of fan favorites from + (2011), x (2014), ÷ (2017), No. 6 Collaborations Project (2019), and = (2021).
The lineup features many of the artist’s definitive hits, including his breakout debut “The A-Team” and massive chart-toppers like “Thinking Out Loud,” “Perfect,” and “Shape of You.”
Following his spring dates in New Zealand and Australia, Sheeran will travel through Latin America in May. He will then embark on an extensive North American leg, touring the United States and Canada from mid-June through early November.
The official Loop Tour arrives shortly after a brief run of warm-up gigs Sheeran performed across the U.K. and Europe in December. He enters this new chapter following the immense success of the Mathematics Tour, which stands as his highest-grossing tour to date, earning $875.7 million and moving 8.8 million tickets worldwide.
