Electronic Arts has been stubbornly preventing players from accelerating progression in Battlefield 6 using Portal, the feature that allows users to design their own maps and game modes.
Certain Portal servers grew popular after content creators published guides showing how to unlock weapons and equipment much faster in Battlefield 6. On Reddit, players frequently share access codes for XP-farming servers and complain that the standard progression is “excessively slow”.
In response, EA has begun taking down the most popular servers, and users are increasingly encountering error messages saying that Battlefield servers are currently “overloaded”.
Players are puzzled why EA is clashing with its own community instead of simply making progression in Battlefield 6 somewhat faster.
