E3 2021: Microsoft and Bethesda to hold a conference hand in hand

E3 2021 is fast approaching and, as usual, the excitement is in order. Well, almost, because it must be said that the famous salon has lost some of its splendor in recent years: first with Sony’s withdrawal in 2019 then with the outright deletion of the 2020 edition, coronavirus crisis requires. For this year, the formula will not be completely restored either, since we will be entitled to a 100% digital version. It is a little less bombastic, of course, but it is always that taken and, above all, the greats of video games promise us heavy stuff.

In this case, the case applies well to Microsoft since we have just learned in an interview with Figaro with Matt Booty, director of Xbox studios, that the Redmond firm was to hold a joint conference with Bethesda. A fully assumed and obviously predictable alliance, the publisher was recently bought by Microsoft for 7.5 billion dollars. If Matt Booty does not dare to speak about the games present during this summer show, he nevertheless declares that covid-19 has somewhat persecuted the development of new franchises : we think in particular of Starfield, the next big space RPG of Bethesda, which should finally give an exit window at E3 2021. Suffice to say that we can not wait to see it all.
