Spanish independent studio Palitroque released DYSTOPICON on Steam on July 27, 2026. The satirical time-management life sim costs $7.99 or €7.99, with a 15% launch discount available for the first two weeks.

DYSTOPICON takes place in a retro-futuristic society where robots have replaced humans at work. The player starts as a Class-2 citizen who receives a government room and earns a salary by watching television.

Watching television becomes a job

Money can be spent on services that help the character survive and stay entertained. Daily news, purchases and player decisions gradually reveal how the system operates. Citizens can follow its rules or rebel, and their actions lead to 14 possible endings.

The story includes five main scenarios and one secret scenario. Each stage introduces new mechanics and changes the way players manage time, money and personal needs.

A separate challenge mode

Challenge Mode removes daily news and other distractions. Its goal is to save enough money to leave the assigned room, turning the game into a more direct resource-management test.

DYSTOPICON is available for PC. Palitroque has also released a launch trailer and is providing review codes to media and content creators.
