Dying Light 2: Artistic Director leaves Techland after 22 years of loyal service

Nothing is going on with Dying Light 2, which is struggling to come out of its chaotic development. If at Techland, we try to drown the fish and make us believe that all is well in the best of all possible worlds, the unexpected departure of one of the pillars of the game, Pawel Selinger, who officiated until a few years ago hours as artistic director and scriptwriter of Techland, does not reassure us about the progress of the project. Pawel Selinger had been with the studio for 22 years and his departure was made in the noblest of ways, with a farewell message posted on his LinkedIn account.

After 22 years, I have decided to end my collaboration with Techland. I would like to express my gratitude to the company which has allowed me to develop and flourish for half of my life. Techland, I will always be grateful to you, as will the wonderful people I have met because of you. Wish you Dying Light 2 and subsequent projects become global successes. Good bye and good luck !

Dying light 2

While the Dying Light Twitter account offered its best wishes to the community on December 31, 2020, while asking players to be ready for 2021, it is true that the latest news from Dying Light 2 was hardly exciting. Between the rumors of a chaotic development, the departures for sexual harassment, one really wonders what is going on internally. But let’s be kind and hope for the best so that the game can finally be released.
