Some of Overwatch’s heroes are kinda Out There already. I imply, a gorilla scientist, a cowboy, a robotic, and a ninja? Might as properly throw a cat in there too, proper? Wrong. Apparently a cat was simply too far for Blizzard. There was one in early improvement however, similar to cat meals, it obtained canned.

In an interview with GameSpot, Overwatch recreation director Jeff Kaplan spoke in regards to the ill-fated feline. Kaplan explains that the group wished to check the boundaries in early improvement, to search out out what Overwatch was.

“That was a kind of moments that helped outline Overwatch. We simply went, ‘Yeah that’s probably too far.’ But sure. We had a cat hero.”
Jeff says it’s unlikely they’ll deliver it again, as he can’t think about its paws in first-person.
