Dua Lipa Announces Curated Lineup for 2026 London Literature Festival: ‘We’ll Be Joined by Icons’

Pop superstar Dua Lipa has officially unveiled her handpicked lineup for the upcoming 2026 London Literature Festival, scheduled to take place from October 20 to November 1 at the prestigious Southbank Centre. This prestigious programming marks the newest milestone for her widely celebrated Service95 Book Club, which routinely delivers monthly literary recommendations alongside an engaging author-interview podcast series.

“Curating the lineup for the London Literature Festival alongside my Service95 Book Club has been an absolute joy, and I couldn’t be prouder of the schedule we’ve put together,” Dua Lipa shared via an official statement. “We will be joined by global icons as well as groundbreaking emerging voices from every corner of the arts world that audiences simply need to discover. Throughout the festival, the Grammy-winning artist will host intimate conversations with several celebrated authors and musicians. On October 24, she will sit down with acclaimed British novelist Zadie Smith to discuss her landmark 2000 debut novel, White Teeth. Additional highlights include dedicated conversations with Sudanese-Canadian poet Mustafa on October 24, followed by an appearance from legendary punk icon and author Patti Smith on October 25.

The festival schedule will also feature dynamic panel discussions centered around translated fiction, alongside a special appearance by acclaimed British rapper and musician Kae Tempest. Prominent literary figures such as Malorie Blackman (renowned for Noughts & Crosses) and Hernan Diaz (author of Trust) are also slated to participate. This high-profile guest curation serves as a key highlight in the renowned London cultural hub’s year-long 75th-anniversary celebrations. Earlier this summer, Harry Styles curated the institution’s annual Meltdown Festival, treating fans to an intimate, rarity-heavy headline performance to kick off the festivities.

Dua Lipa’s Service95 Book Club originally launched in 2023. Since its inception, the monthly reading list has bridged timeless literary masterpieces—such as Gabriel García Márquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude—with celebrated contemporary works like David Szalay’s Flesh.
