Dozen Musicians Tease GTA 6 Appearances Through New Artwork

Comment Views: 1
Yesterday, about a dozen artists posted images or image fragments on their social media accounts featuring illustrations from GTA 6, hinting that their tracks will appear on the game’s radio stations. However, none of them specified exactly which songs.

This is a planned Rockstar Games campaign and part of a broader marketing strategy to draw attention to the project through the musicians’ audiences. It is also almost certainly part of something larger.

Several artists shared the artwork accompanying the posts because Grand Theft Auto VI will feature their collaborations, and the images are not yet available in their best quality. The developer will hopefully upload them soon to its official website.

Keith Richards

The member of legendary band The Rolling Stones posted a drawing featuring an iguana. Given that he shared it from his personal account rather than the band’s page, the rock star’s collaboration with Rockstar Games will most likely be limited to a solo appearance.

Travis Scott

One of the biggest names on the modern hip-hop scene shared an image of a dancer’s legs on a stripper pole, along with a caption mentioning a mysterious Phase 1 and a simple rebus reading J… O. H….., meaning Jack of Hearts. He is presumably going to be closely associated with this particular strip club.

His fellow artist Hendrix Smoke tagged several other rappers in his story, potentially revealing a track featuring six people at once: the two of them, Don Toliver, Kodak Black, ATL Jacob, and RushDee.

However, this is likely not Travis Scott’s only track to appear on the playlist. A Ferrari with GTA VI6 Florida plates appeared in the music video for 2000 EXCURSION a year ago.

Future

Future teased fans with artwork featuring a Coquette D10 with VCE BBY Leonida plates, posted through his label’s Freebandz account. A rumor previously circulated that he might even have an entire radio station of his own.

Metro Boomin

The producer and beatmaker shared a similar post without a caption.

The joint Future and Metro Boomin album We Don’t Trust You may be featured, if not in its entirety, then at least through the track GTA.

Fred Again

British artist Fred Again limited himself to a Story featuring a glimpse of a yacht, posted on an official fan account.
