Acclaimed actress Diane Lane, known for her roles in Man of Steel and Under the Tuscan Sun, has officially joined the ensemble of the upcoming Exorcist horror project.
The film’s high-profile cast also includes Scarlett Johansson and Jacobi Jupe (Hamnet). While specific narrative details remain strictly confidential, the production will be written and directed by horror visionary Mike Flanagan (Doctor Sleep).
Universal Pictures is slated to release the film internationally on March 12, 2027. Lane recently wrapped production on the thriller Anniversary.
