Deus Ex Has Already Received a Remaster — Blogger Reminds Players Unhappy with Aspyr About a Fan Project

Deus Ex Remastered was announced recently. Aspyr’s approach has been heavily criticized online — many fans are dissatisfied with the remaster’s apparent quality.
The creator behind the YouTube channel Soul Tomato noticed the backlash and reminded viewers that the community already has its own remaster of Deus Ex.
The project, titled Deus Ex: Revision, was released in 2015 and is available on Steam as a modification for the original game.
The mod team has introduced new areas, an updated soundtrack, richer world detail, Direct3D9 rendering, high-resolution textures, highly detailed 3D models, and a range of other enhancements.
