Reports from Deadline indicate that production for the third season of the hit series “Severance” is slated to commence as early as this summer.
The dystopian thriller, which centers on the enigmatic Lumon Industries and stars Adam Scott, is widely expected to be renewed for a fourth season, though an official announcement remains pending. However, Apple TV+ representatives have clarified that a fifth season is off the table, effectively capping the main series’ run.
Despite this, the narrative journey of “Severance” may not conclude with the fourth installment. The show’s creators are currently exploring the potential for various spin-offs. These projects would likely be spearheaded by Apple Studios, which reportedly acquired the rights to the franchise from Fifth Season in a substantial $70 million deal.
