Darren Aronofsky, the filmmaker behind Requiem for a Dream, is teaming up with novelist Gillian Flynn (author of Gone Girl) on a new erotic thriller, Deadline reports.
The project is set to be released by Sony Pictures. Story specifics remain confidential, and no release date has been disclosed.
Aronofsky most recently put out the crime thriller “Caught Stealing.” Flynn has previously adapted the film Widows for the screen and served as a producer on the series Sharp Objects.
