“Daddy’s Daughters” wedding sequel to be released in 2027
Production has officially commenced in Saint Petersburg on the new feature film “Daddy’s Daughters: No Wedding Today!” The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 11, 2027.
The narrative follows the Vasnetsov-Vasilyev clan as they embark on a trip to Saint Petersburg for the wedding of Sonya (Polina Denisova), the eldest daughter of Venik (Filipp Bledny) and Dasha (Anastasia Sivaeva). However, the celebration is abruptly thrown into chaos, forcing the family to navigate a series of wild adventures and obstacles that will truly test their bond.
This film serves as a direct follow-up to the sixth season of the revival series “Daddy’s Daughters: New,” which is slated for an autumn release on STS. The creative team has cited the heist classic “Ocean’s Twelve” as a key stylistic inspiration for the project.
The ensemble cast includes Eva Smirnova, Vitaliya Kornienko, Timofey Kochnev, Polina Ainutdinova, Miroslava Karpovich, Liza Arzamasova, Darya Melnikova, Tatyana Orlova, and others. The film is directed by Anatoly Koliev.
