Cyberpunk 2077: the big patch 1.2 of February will not be on time, the cyberattack allegedly involved

We don’t really see the connection between data theft and being on time to release a corrective patch, but that’s the excuse found on the part of the executives to ask for more time from players to do not fall on them.

While we really wanted to launch Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2 within the time frame we detailed previously, the recent cyber attack on the studio’s IT infrastructure plus the importance of the next update means that the patch won’t come out on time – we need more time.

We remember that patch 1.1 launched in January resulted in a major bug that prevented players from moving forward in the adventure. If CD Projekt Red reacted very quickly, for 1.2, the studio announces a release between March 15 and 31, provided that this may change further. We obviously hope that all this is not just a transverse flute symphony, but given the lying liabilities of the studio, we are not immune to a new trick …
