POPSICAT journeyed to Runeterra to embody the bright, vivacious Neeko from League of Legends — a character on the lookout for new companions and perhaps the start of a fresh tribe.
Photographer Ivan “AKUSHIRO” Laut and cosplayer POPSICAT teamed up once more to thrill fans of the MOBA League of Legends. For the session, the model stepped into the persona of Neeko, who joined the champion lineup back in 2018.
Neeko is one of the Vastaya and stands as the last known member of the Uwi-Kat tribe. She can meld into any crowd by taking on another’s appearance and can read a stranger’s emotions instantly to tell if they mean harm or friendship.
She’s portrayed as inquisitive, full of energy, and a touch naive. In gameplay, Neeko can fling damaging seeds, summon a decoy that heads in a chosen direction, and use abilities that root, launch into the air, and stun her foes.
Moreover, Neeko can disguise herself as allied champions or other players on the map, adding a deceptive edge to her playstyle.
