Netflix has introduced a brand new animated sequence primarily based on Studio MDHR-developed Cuphead.
The widespread indie game Cuphead is getting its personal animated sequence on Netflix known as The Cuphead Show.
The character-driven comedy will observe the misadventures of Cuphead and his “cautious but easily swayed brother,” Mugman throughout their residence: the Inkwell Isles.
When IGN requested Studio MDHR to elaborate on the Netflix announcement, the positioning was instructed the sequence will likely be “safe for kids, but written so there are also things that adults find funny and appeals to a wider audience.”
Netflix said the series will expand on the characters and world of Cuphead, and will likely be developed by King Features Syndicate.
CJ Kettler will function the Executive Producer and Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer will function Executive Producers for Studio MDHR.
The sequence will likely be produced by Netflix Animation and is government produced by Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts) and Cosmo Segurson (Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling)will function the co-executive producer.
To date, Cuphead has offered over four million models worldwide, and has received over 20 awards. It is on the market on PC, Xbox One and Switch, and its enlargement, The Delicious Last Course, is expected next year.
