Cruise with Friends in Horizon Meets
Calling all automotive enthusiasts: the latest *Forza Horizon 6* update has officially arrived, and it’s called Horizon Meets. This series celebrates the iconic spots where you and your crew gather to form Convoys, and what better way to honor car culture than through an exclusive partnership with 7-Eleven, a global icon of late-night automotive meetups.
This fresh update brings exciting 7-Eleven content to the table, featuring a limited-time 7-Eleven Evolving World complete with a themed Car Meet area and an EventLab Prop Pack. You’ll also get behind the wheel of 3 brand-new-to-Horizon vehicles: the 2025 BMW M4 CS, the 1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327, and the 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH. Additionally, the update delivers 2 distinct Car Horns, a hidden Treasure Car waiting to be uncovered, 200 fresh levels in Horizon Play alongside new Spec Racing additions, and much more!
It begs the question—where is your go-to hangout spot in Horizon Japan? Maybe you prefer the official Car and Drag Meets, or perhaps you test your limits at the Drift Attack and Time Attack circuits. Then again, you might enjoy keeping things low-key at one of the open-world parking lots or tucked-away service stations. Factor in the winding Touge mountain passes and breathtaking landmarks like the bustling Shibuya Crossing in central Tokyo, and you have an infinite canvas for organizing your next meetup with friends.
With that in mind, let’s dive straight into everything heading your way over the next four weeks!
Game Improvements and Release Notes
The latest *Forza Horizon 6* series update will be available to download starting on Monday, October 5 at 5:00 PM UTC on Steam, paving the way for the Horizon Meets Festival Playlist launch on Thursday, October 8 at 2:30 PM UTC.
Here is a sneak peek at the fixes and quality-of-life enhancements included in this patch, directly influenced by the reports and feedback you’ve submitted via the Forza Feedback Portal:
- Resolved an exploit where players could artificially inflate their Drift Attack scores by repeatedly fast-traveling or using rewinds.
- Added dedicated audio for the Drive Mode animations on the 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE, 2013 McLaren P1, 2017 Ford GT, and 2025 McLaren W1.
- Fixed a bug preventing photography points from registering when snapping a picture of the Temple of Nachi Falls for the Collection Journal.
- Fixed an issue where tire-scrubbing sound effects failed to trigger when turning the steering wheel while stationary.
Alongside these general improvements, this update introduces brand-new engine swap options for several existing cars. Check out the official Forza Support site for the complete release notes detailing every fix and alteration included in this patch.
If you stumble upon any bugs or unexpected behavior not covered in this update, please be sure to submit a detailed bug report on the Forza Feedback Portal to help our development teams investigate.
Park Up at the 7-Eleven Car Meet
Thanks to our new collaboration with 7-Eleven, we are thrilled to introduce a limited-time 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet alongside an inspired EventLab Prop Pack, giving you entirely new ways to showcase your prized automotive builds.
Check out the brand-new meetup destination modeled after a traditional Japanese *konbini* convenience store. Situated in the Nangan region near the Nangan Day Trip—mirroring a real-world roadside stop overlooking Mt. Fuji—this is guaranteed to become a fan-favorite backdrop for your virtual photography! While the convenience store location is a temporary feature of the Evolving World during the Horizon Meets series, creators will retain permanent access to the *konbini* prop for their custom EventLab creations.
Complete your driver’s aesthetic with the Clerk Uniform, modeled after the attire worn by real-life 7-Eleven store associates in Japan. You can unlock this exclusive cosmetic in the Festival Playlist simply by snapping a photo of the 7-Eleven Car Meet during the first week of the series.
Tucked around the back of the *konbini*, you’ll find a curated selection of discounted and rare Aftermarket Cars available for purchase. This lineup includes the 2008 Mazda Furai and the 1989 Toyota MR2 SC making their triumphant return from the ‘Welcome to Japan’ series, alongside the ultra-rare, Wheelspin-exclusive 1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK GTR.
Meanwhile, the 7-Eleven Prop Pack delivers an assortment of themed assets for your EventLab, Garage, and Estate builds. Here is the complete inventory:
- 5 Sign & Flag Props: 7-Eleven flag (3 variants), 7-Eleven small sign, 7-Eleven tall sign.
- 4 Festival Props: E-Z UP tent (3 variants), 7-Eleven branded tent.
- 5 Urban Props: 7-Eleven *Konbini* (the full convenience store building from the Evolving World Car Meet), 7-Eleven vending machine, Shop Storage (3 variants featuring large/small crate stacks and a metal pulley system).
- 2 Roads & Racing Props: Branded 7-Eleven traffic barrier (2 variants).
- 1 Walls & Fences Prop: Metal Railing 3.
Working up an appetite? No 7-Eleven crossover would be complete without the iconic Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible to keep your energy up during those cross-country road trips across Japan!
That’s not all—there are also two brand-new Badges up for grabs. Play *Forza Horizon 6* at any point during the Horizon Meets Festival Playlist to claim the “Welcome!” Badge, and park up at the 7-Eleven *Konbini* Car Meet while driving the 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH to unlock the “Please Visit Again!” Badge.
Discover a New Treasure Car in Japan

With the curtain rising on Horizon Meets, whispers have spread regarding a long-lost Treasure Car hidden somewhere within the Japanese countryside! Follow the in-game photographic hint to track down the legendary 1970 Citroën 2CV—a magnificent and quirky addition to any serious collector’s garage.
Level Up with New Badges in Horizon Play
Progress through up to 200 additional tiers in Horizon Play! Along this extended journey, you can earn 20 distinct Player Badges, with a new badge unlocking for every 10 levels you conquer.
What’s more, if you had already maxed out at Level 100 prior to this update and continued playing, any surplus XP earned has been banked toward these new ranks. Your updated level will display the moment you next log into the game.
In addition to the expanded progression ranks, we’ve integrated several powerhouse vehicles into Spec Racing:
- 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior
- 2020 Lamborghini Essenza SCV12
- 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP
- 1992 Mazda RX-7 Type R
- 2008 Mazda Furai

While the 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP, 2023 Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD, and 1990 Nissan #12 Skyline GT-R are paid DLC vehicles, all players can pilot them within the Spec Racing playlist at zero additional cost, regardless of whether they own the respective DLC packs.

We have also added the Edamame Circuit—originally introduced during the Horizon Mascot Party update—into Horizon Drift (available across all PI classes), Spec Racing (restricted to B and C classes), and Horizon Racing (B class only).
We hope you enjoy pushing these vehicles to their limits in Horizon Play, and we encourage you to keep sharing your suggestions for future game updates on the Forza Feedback Portal.
