Back in November, the Criterion Collection announced a new streaming service, the Criterion Channel. The announcement got here shortly earlier than the beforehand introduced shutdown of FilmStruck, the platform that targeted on streaming basic, overseas, and arthouse movies (together with movies within the Criterion Collection).
Now, an official launch date has been introduced. The Criterion Channel launches April eight with “selections of Hollywood, international, art-house, and independent movies, plus access to Criterion’s entire streaming library of more than 1,000 important classic and contemporary films from around the world.” Find extra info here.
