Creators of Spiritual Successor to Heroes Return from Vacation to Work on New Game and Songs of Conquest Updates
The survivors genre will soon expand with another title.
Lavapotion, the studio behind the turn-based strategy game Songs of Conquest, is gradually returning from vacation. A studio representative stated that due to staggered vacation schedules, “roughly half of us are not back yet,” but office work has begun.
The team has already been reviewing feedback regarding bug reports in Songs of Conquest that accumulated over the past weeks. The developers have not yet shared all of their plans in detail and are not ready to announce DLC due to limited resources, but they did outline several points.
At present, “roughly half of the team” is hard at work on the new incremental survivors game Wielders of the Essence. The creators have received a lot of “great feedback” from players who tested the demo.
One of Lavapotion’s current tasks is to “make sure Songs of Conquest is uniform across all consoles and platforms” (including mobile devices).

The developers also noted that “in the coming months” they will focus on balancing, share news about Wielders of the Essence, and work on “other improvements.” They intend to dedicate time to polishing and refining Songs of Conquest.
In addition, the Digital Artbook add-on has received an update, which includes new illustrations in the digital artbook.
