Remedy showcased a snippet of Control Resonant featuring the Metro Fault location, where trains attack the hero from all axes of movement.

Remedy Entertainment shared a new gameplay clip set in Metro Fault, one of Manhattan’s dungeons. Dylan ventures there against Zoe’s warning. In this area, trains hunt down people and leave no survivors.

The situation grows more complicated because the trains move across every possible axis. Dylan can shift his position onto different surfaces to dodge while simultaneously fighting Mold enemies. Some foes require quick attacks, while others must first be broken with heavy strikes and then finished off. The combat demonstration also featured Aberrant, a glowing ability that lets players attack both ground and flying enemies.

In Metro Fault, Dylan also encounters Jesse’s sister. She struggles to remember something and admits that she woke Dylan up not for help, but in order to run.

Here, the hero also acquires the Reach ability, which functions like a grappling hook. Completing the dungeon unlocks fast travel, which may prove useful late in the game or in New Game Plus.

Control Resonant will release on September 24, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
