Coldplay discovered a “Higher Power” and they’ve gone and shared it with the rest of us, in various forms.
The iconic British band dropped the track May 7, followed by the official music video, the behind-the-scenes clip, the Tiesto remix, and then an acoustic cut.
On Wednesday night (June 16), Chris Martin and Co. gave us another look when they performed the song in the open air of a New York evening.
The Brits and their backing dancers look relaxed and upbeat for their acoustic performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, with an historic church their fitting backdrop.
“Higher Power” is the first track lifted from the award-winning band’s forthcoming ninth studio album, the followup to 2019’s Everyday Life.
