COD: WW2’s zombies may be scary this time – we’ll see in two weeks

COD: WWII’s “twisted, new” Zombies mode can be unveiled on the San Diego Comic Con, on July 20.

Here’s your mission briefing, aka, everything we know about COD: WW2 thus far.

The information comes through the COD: WWII Twitter account, accompanying a reasonably ghastly-looking zombie:

Sledgehammer’s final COD, Advanced Warfare, strapped zombies into exosuits with bounce packs and customarily deviated little from earlier, camp, variations of the sport mode, retaining even Perk-a-Colas and Pack-a-Punch Machines. That model, pioneered by Treyarch in World at War and refined of their Black Ops sequence, has all the time been unashamedly foolish.

Sledgehammer have spoken briefly about their “twisted new vision” earlier than, saying the backstory to the mode can be “based on real events” and reminding us of their earlier work on Dead Space, which a few of their senior employees had helped to make. Apparently, the brand new zombies can be “unique to our Dead Space signature.”

Are we about to dispense with the silliness and get a genuinely scary zombie mode? Your man within the tweet positive would not appear to be he is messing round.
