CloverPit creators reveal first-day sales for horror roguelike about the “one-armed bandit” — Silksong delay didn’t hurt its success
The launch of Hollow Knight: Silksong has reshaped the plans of many developers.
CloverPit arrived on the market recently. The team had originally planned an earlier release, but Silksong’s arrival prompted them to push the date back.
Panik Arcade presents this roguelike as a “demonic fusion of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette.” The protagonist wakes up confined in a rusted cell alongside a slot machine and an ATM — they must settle their debt at the end of each round or literally tumble into a “debt hole.”
Like in Balatro, players have a variety of tools and tactics to manipulate and improve their final outcome.
CloverPit earned “Very Positive” reviews on Steam, and first-day sales surpassed the 100,000-copies mark.
