Ciara made a surprise appearance at Junya Watanabe’s Spring 2027 ready-to-wear show in Paris on Saturday, Oct. 3, walking the runway three times while showing her baby bump.

*Vogue* and Ciara revealed the surprise in a joint Instagram post after the show. Footage showed the 40-year-old musician walking the presentation in multiple looks centered on purple leggings, a coordinating cropped top with bright pink racing-inspired stripes, a low-slung black belt, and red heeled boots.

For her first look, Ciara wore a tan trench coat over the base outfit and a black embellished cap. She exchanged the coat for a distressed black leather jacket with dangling hardware and metallic embellishments during her second walk.

Her final trip down the runway featured a sparkling helmet-like headpiece with long crystal strands cascading toward her waist.

“I’ve always dreamed of walking the runway in Paris,” Ciara wrote on Instagram after the event. “Junya Watanabe having me walk in your show was a Major Dream Come True!”

Ciara admitted she worried that revealing her pregnancy would clash with the creative direction of the collection.

“I was honestly afraid that when I mentioned I was with child, you say it doesn’t fit the vision anymore, but you said YES!!” she stated.

The audience responded enthusiastically to the appearance, and her husband, Russell Wilson, left heart and raised-hands emojis in the comments.

The Paris runway appearance occurred less than a month after Ciara and Wilson announced they are expecting their fifth child together. The couple shared the news on Sept. 6 with the message, “One more person to love.”

Days after announcing the pregnancy, Ciara performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, singing Billboard Hot 100 hits “Goodies” and “1, 2 Step” while incorporating a backbend.

The new baby joins children Future, 12, Sienna, 9, Win, 6, and Amora, 2.
