Charts France: LEGO Star Wars wins the day and imposes itself (almost) everywhere!

Since Easter Monday turned everything upside down, today, Tuesday April 19, SELL published the results of video game sales in France, through GfK statistics. A habit that you have been following for almost 15 years on Jeuxactu (yes, we were the first to do so) and which shows that the French public was impatiently awaiting the return of the LEGO Star Wars license. It’s simple, from April 11 to 17, 2022, the title of Warner Bros Games takes the lead with 3 places obtained in the Top 5, and not the least. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga takes first, third and fourth place depending on the platform, knowing that the Switch version takes the lead. Proof that it was above all children who bought the game en masse during launch week. Another important detail, we see that the PS4 version comes just after, while the PS5 version has to settle for 4th position. Among this hegemony, other games manage to come out on top, such as Kirby and the Forgotten World, which is down one place compared to last week and is positioned in 2nd place. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe also clings well to the asphalt and closes the Top 5 by being in 5th position.

On PC, the Syberia The World Before effect has faded since the game of Microids which was in first position last week leaves the Top 3, to make way for classic sales on this platform. Farming Simulator 22, Microsoft Flight Simulator and Elden Ring, we are on well-known safe bets in the PC world.
