Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen to Star in New Sitcom

AMC, the network behind Breaking Bad, has announced an upcoming comedy series titled “Happy Jack,” starring real-life father and son duo Martin and Charlie Sheen in the lead roles.

The actors have previously shared the screen as relatives in the Academy Award-winning film Wall Street and on the set of the sitcom Anger Management. In this new venture, Charlie Sheen plays Jack, a shiftless slacker who has offloaded the responsibility of raising his children onto his own father. The family dynamic is thrown into further chaos when his youngest daughter introduces a new boyfriend who happens to be around Jack’s own age. This premise sets the stage for a series of comedic misunderstandings, ultimately forcing the protagonist to confront his lifestyle and re-evaluate his life choices.

The project is being developed by Jim Patterson and Matt Ross, both known for their work on Two and a Half Men. A definitive premiere date has not yet been announced.
